Hurt my left foot and had 6 stitches. Looks like resting for a few days in bombay and flying back. Dayum!

Which is why you shouldn't go around chasing nubile young girls on buses. But imagine all the sympathy you'll get at the wedding.

Gosh, that must hurt. But how?

Is that the same foot that was victim to the hammer slammer? All this kicking ass is taking its toll, it seems.

Same foot but in the ankle region. Was just trying to get up and walk from these annoyingly cheerful wedding crowd, turns out this part of my foot was stuck under a sharp edge of the living room furniture. Everyone was treated to a sight of terrible bloodshed for the next 15 minutes till the bleeding stopped. A doctor visited and was then taken to a hospital and given these six stitches and a tetanus shot. Tells me I was lucky to have just missed getting the tendon hurt - that would've been fuck all to say the least.

Lots of sympathy and (unwanted) attention from all sides and I'm suddenly quite popular. Good part is, I can sneak away from the Reception and this loud hindi orchestra douchebaggery and tell you all about it sitting in the groom's room. Wedding's tomorrow morning.

After a solid week of family-ing around and getting better, I think I'm finally getting back to Bangalore sometime in the next two days. Can't wait... not at all looking forward to resumimg being a desk monkey monday onwards though.
