Volbeat - Beyond Hell Above Heaven same formula of hard rock and punk and thrash colliding with super catchy songs and this time around maybe a little more experimentation. Solid album even if not as immediately catchy as the last one.

Killing Joke - Absolute Dissent Very good new album from the band which sounds at various times like all of the stuff they've done before but also adds something new to the sound. Liking this a fair bit.

Grinderman - 2 On first listen this has some great songs and some boring songs and occasionally sounds like the birthday party with all the rough edges smoothed out.

Death Angel - Relentless Retribution First song is just classic thrash metal and then the rest of the album is made up of modern sounding groove metal songs that didn't do much for me. a bit of a disappointment after Killing Season.

Been tripping on the new killing Joke, Horn of the Rhino and El Festivale de Los Viajes.
