Yeah seriously. We should do these as a part of our kvlt essentials scheme next year. Till then I'm going to learn me some CoC.
Watched a bit of Exodus' live at the dna official bootleg dvd. This was the tempo of the damned launch show. Damn these guys have a lot of cool tricks. No wonder they're my favourite thrashers.

Asunder - Works will come undone [2006]
A really fine funeral doomish band/album.

she's mine, you vile fiend!
haha, i am fucking loving that album so much!!
played over the last few days:
The Ocean - Pre-Cambrian
Aeon - Rise To Dominate
Dekapitator - The Storm Before the Calm
lined up the new Evoken album which dee was all praise for. I fucking LOVE Evoken and believe they can do no wrong anyway, so let's see how this goes.
and after that, I'm going to further mistreat my ears by popping those Autopsy CDs into my Sony discman, turning the volume upto fucking max and listen to Charred Remains as Satan bloody intended it to be! :D

One Step Beyond- Beyond Good and Evil
Their sophomore venture. Fairly interesting.
UnexpecT- In a Flesh Aquarium.
Ugh. A little too random and chaotic for my liking. The music spirals off in multiple directions almost simultaneously. Think schizophrenic musical genius pumped with a metricfuckton of caffeine let loose in a room filled with assorted instuments. Oh and throw in some Attention Deficit Disorder for good measure.
I have Estradasphere lined up, but i doubt thats a good idea considering i didn't take to UnexpecT as well as i was told i would :/

Prosthetic Records Sampler
1. Himsa - Withered
These guys are supposed to be brutal but they're mostly fast boring slightly melodic metalcore.
2. Yakuza - Cancer Of Industry
This was allright in a "let's rip Crisis off" kind of way. I'm not convinced by this band.
3. Burn In Silence - Embrace Thy Plague (demo)
More metalcore with meshuggah influences.
4. All That Remains - The Deepest Gray
Started with some ridiculous overblown swedish melodic shit and I changed CDs.
Pungent Stench - Club Mondo Bizarre
Sludgy death metal with a southern swagger. The Austrian sickos rocked out on this album. My favourite's always going to be the straight ahead death metal of For God Your Soul but this one is a lot of fun.
Klyster Boogie!

Crowbar - Odd Fellows Rest
A classic NOLA release, Windstien has never sounded this good. As sludgy as ever but also when the and had Sammy Pierre Duet and Todd Strange and just a bit of melody in the songs. Quite awesome.
Portal - Outre
A death metal band writing some very powerful songs that are wrappd up in a kvlt black metal production. The drum sounds pretty shitty and reminds me of Tearstained's drum machine but apart form that one gripe, Outre sounds pretty good.
Oxbow - The Narcotic Story
Oxbow are supposedly a very kvlt band releasing albums since 1989 with their post rock madness. The songs are awesome and seem quite radio friendly till the band just ups the ante and kills. This one sounds damn good but needs a lot more listens.
