Talking about thread derail, there's actually a separate hauls thread on the MBG forums and this is for the non-MBG hauls [:p}

You have rectified nothing! That belongs in the MBG section! We are doomed! I bought Oreos. And I ate them.

Got myself a Transcend 250GB portable hard drive. Set me back by 4.3K. Have already loaded it with tons of stuff that slashgod (Sriram) was kind enough to pass on. Also since my new office is this huge hub of piracy I'm never going to see a hindi movie on screen again.

Hmmm 4.3k for a 250GB external is a bit too much, unless its the laptop HD which is self powered. I got a 500GB WD external which was almost 5k, I now have more than a TB sitting here at home :P

I bought a pair of Sennheiser HD 280 Pro today. Found a distributor here who was actually only into making oscillators and shit for school physics labs. Had no idea what Sennheiser had to offer but had one piece of this. Went and grabbed it for 5k (costs $100 in the States). Sounding really good so far. Can't wait for my new audio card next month so I can hear the real thing.

Creative Zen overkill.
The 32GB player, silicon skin with wire management (whatever that might be), charger & the screen protector

The exchange rate hurt a bit so all this came for a grand total of 11k. Paid for the player and everything else was free.

had borrowed HathyaSaiBaba's zen for a trial run before the purchase. Ravi, you get it back only after you're done loading a bunch of stuff on this.

Oooh nice. I recently got a Geepas DivX/DVD player in exchange for my old fake Pioneer player.

So my aunt was in town the last time I was home and among other goodies, she enquired whether I would have any use for a compact Samsung camera. I replied in the affirmative, implying that even if I didn't have any direct use for it, any money I might receive for pawning it off would come in handy. It looks something like the below picture, not sure if it's the exact same model.

Anyway, it didn't come to that, because my dad seized the opportunity and said its compact nature was more in line with his requirements and he would trade it for his Olympus SP550UZ.

I collected this on my Xmas trip, so now I have both the Panasonic handycam and this one to cart around on trips. Expect my deviantart account to be overflowing in a little while.
