I shall be watching this closely. More than the god particle, I'm interested in whether the LHC can throw more light on the existence of other dimensions that string theory has propounded but has had jackshit on for the past 12 years or so.

Bah, higher energy collisions happen all the time in the earths upper atmosphere, do you see any black spot chewing away at you and your family? Micro blackholes - if given the extremely small probability they do form, just evaporate away because of Hawking radiation (I dunno know what that is.. 12th standard doesn't allow me to go crazy with physics :( ).

Was looking at some particle accelerator in the afternoon and the Large Hardon Collider started working again. Isn't it too dangerous to have it running while doing 9 to 5, monday-friday?
